At Achillefs Ntranos MD P.C., we understand the importance of clear and transparent billing practices, as well as the need for accessible, high-quality neurological care. Our goal is to ensure you have a stress-free experience when it comes to understanding and managing your financial responsibilities.
Our billing process is meticulously designed to be as straightforward and transparent as possible, ensuring you have a clear understanding of the charges associated with your neurological care. After each appointment, we provide you with a comprehensive invoice that outlines the services rendered, fees, and any applicable discounts. To help you plan financially, we can also offer an estimate of charges before your visit, based on the anticipated services and consultations.
At the time of service, we collect any deductibles, copays, or coinsurance fees as required by your insurance plan. Our dedicated billing team is always available to assist you with any questions or concerns about your invoice, ensuring you have the information you need to manage your healthcare expenses confidently.
In addition, we handle the insurance claims submission process on your behalf, working directly with your insurance provider to streamline your experience and minimize any administrative burden. This allows you to focus on what truly matters—your health and well-being—while we take care of the paperwork and claims management.
Medicare: We are proud to be an in-network provider for Medicare in California. We will handle the claims submission process and work directly with Medicare to ensure your covered services are processed efficiently. Unfortunately, we do not participate in Medicare in New York or Florida.
Medicaid: We currently do not accept Medicaid plans. We encourage you to explore alternative options or consider our self-pay rates and payment plans for your neurological care needs.
Commercial PPO Plans: We work with most PPO insurance plans as out-of-network providers and utilize out-of-network benefits to cover a significant portion of our fees. Although we may be out-of-network for your PPO plan, your insurance will generally cover treatment and testing, such as medications, infusions, MRIs, and blood tests, among others. We also explore the possibility of single case agreements with insurance companies, which may fully cover your fees. We recommend contacting us or your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits and coverage details.
Commercial HMO/EPO Plans: We do not accept HMO or EPO plans. If you have an HMO or EPO plan, we encourage you to explore alternative options or consider our self-pay rates and payment plans for your neurological care needs.
Self-Pay Rates: We offer competitive self-pay rates for patients without insurance or who prefer not to use their insurance coverage. Our current self-pay rates are:
$498.62 for a 60-minute initial video consultation
$385.11 for a 30-minute follow-up video visit
$652.45 for a 60-minute in-person consultation
$500.21 for a 30-minute follow-up in-person visit
We understand that healthcare costs can be a concern for some patients, and we are committed to making our services accessible to as many individuals as possible.
Pay-Later or Pay-in-4: To help alleviate financial stress, we offer Pay-Later or Pay-in-4 plans in partnership with Affirm or Klarna, two leading payment solutions providers. The Pay in 4 plan allows you to split the cost of your consultation and treatment into four interest-free installments, providing you with a more manageable and budget-friendly payment option. This flexibility ensures you can access the care you need without compromising your financial stability.
Financial Assistance: Moreover, we provide financial assistance options for patients facing economic challenges, in the form of discounts or long-term payment plans. Our team is more than willing to discuss your individual financial needs and work with you to find a suitable payment solution tailored to your circumstances. At Achillefs Ntranos MD P.C., our primary goal is to prioritize your health and well-being while delivering exceptional neurological care in a financially accessible manner.
